- At Feeling Reflective Counselling Service, I strive to both respect and protect my clients' personal information.
- Any information I have on you as the client is limited to your name, address, email address, phone numbers, payment transactions (BACs) and GP details.
- Confidentiality – all information will be kept confidential, however there are limits to confidentiality under circumstances if the safety of the client or others is at risk. The counsellor will endeavour to explore with the client and gain consent before any action is taken. In this instance your GP or medical services will be informed.
- Your details will not be shared or passed on to any other persons or any other organisations. If circumstances require it, your permission will be obtained.
Storage and management of personal information
- Your information is stored in a folder and filed into a lockable drawer.
- Your name, telephone number and emails will be on the mobile phone in order to contact you.
- I will retain your personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purpose it was collected for.
- Process notes and stored paper information will be shredded before disposal.
